Dr. Jason Bollenbeck graduated from the University of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.
After graduation, he moved to Northern Virginia to practice at Pender Veterinary Centre in Fairfax for seven years. While at Pender, he mastered many levels of medicine and surgery. He also developed a long-term friendship with Dr. Rice. Dr. Bollenbeck and Dr. Rice purchased Towne Animal Clinic in January 2006. Dr. Bollenbeck has advanced training and extensive experience in internal medicine and surgery, dentistry, canine reproduction, and abdominal and cardiac ultrasound.
Dr. Bollenbeck currently lives in Purcellville, Virginia with his wife, Anne-Elizabeth, children Ainsley, Carter and Caroline, and a slew of dogs, cats, horses, ponies, goats and donkeys. His personal interests include spending time with his family, fishing, skiing, traveling, and working on the farm.
Dr. Bollenbeck is a Past President of the Loudoun County Veterinary Medical Association and the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association. In 2013, Dr. Bollenbeck received the "Virginia Veterinary Service Award" for his dedication and commitment to the Veterinary profession, and in 2022 he received the "Paul F. Landis Virginia Veterinarian of the Year" award in recognition of his leadership, inspiration, and contributions to the veterinary profession. In 2019, Dr. Bollenbeck was voted Loudoun's favorite veterinarian. Dr Bollenbeck is on the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine Dean’s Advisory Council, and he is also an active member of the Hamilton Ruritans.
